We just found out that the Washington Capitals just completed the refurbishment of 6 Street Hockey Rinks in the DMV and have plans to finish 5 more by the end of the 2020 season. I love a team, and it’s leadership, that recognizes that giving back to your community is not only a responsibility but a privileged. What makes this even more fun is that the Caps will also be giving street hockey clinics to kids ages 8-14 at all of their refurbished rinks! How cool is that!
