“When designing engagement rings, I am often asked, what is the difference between platinum and white gold? White gold is an alloyed metal. It is Yellow gold, plus nickel, plus silver, making it a little more unstable than platinum. Platinum is absolutely pure, naturally white, and has and it has excellent durability that is perfect for engagement rings.”
