The new movie experience in the Tysons Galleria finally opened after numerous delays last fall. Boasting a unique movie-going experience, this cinema combines the best features of a restaurant and cinema.
The Cinebistro features its Stone Sports bar, where you can enjoy drinks and food and catch your favorite sports team playing. The sports bar is just one piece of this puzzle, as they also provide a full-service bar and restaurant where you can dine whether you plan to see a movie or need something to eat. The kitchen also services movie dining, where they will deliver your food to you in the theatre.
The theatre has a total of 43,268 square feet and 800 reclining seats in eight different theatre rooms. Utilizing the latest projection and audio technology, the Cinemax Cinebsitro is attempting to take care of all needs, technological comfort, and amenities. The menu features “Rustic New America Cusine,” said Cinemax in a press release. With items like blackened salmon, a crispy chicken bowl with jasmine rice, and a signature CMX burger, this is more than your typical movie theatre. They also offer traditional movie theatre concessions available throughout the entire showing.
If you want to participate in their in-theatre dining, you must arrive at least 30 minutes before your showtime. And for those who want a more adult viewing experience, showings following 8:30 pm are 21+, except for movies designated as family-friendly.
